Lite On Ltr 48247s Driver For Mac
Hello, I was not sure where to put this topic and so I am sorry if I put it in the wrong place, perhaps. I tried writing something to my CD, copying some files, and it would not work. I am not sure but I think this is why. Recently, I was having a problem with an error message popping up on my computer, and so I went to a computer help forum (not this one) and they gave me a link that gave instructions on how to change the names (Letter) of your various drives including your CD drive. So I tried that. Then this morning I tried putting some files onto a CD and it wouldnt work, it kept saying: CD Writing Wizard pops up and says 'Insert a writable disc to continue. There is no disc in the drive.
Please insert a writable CD into drive L:/. But there WAS a disc in there.

Can anybody help me please? I must get this fixed because people order and pay for CDs I send to them. With files on them. To let you know how I had changed the drive letter, I right clicked on My Computer, then clicked on Manage, then Storage then Disc Management, then I right clicked on CD-ROM1-change drive letter and paths.

The list of things comes up and I clicked on DVD/CD-ROM Drives. But all that comes up are two things: IDE-DVD ROM 16X and LITE-ON LTR -48247S So I checked and apparently the CD-ROM L drive is the same as the LITE-ON LTR -48247S and when I click that, this Properties thing comes up with alot of tabs on there to choose from.

The only thing I can see to uninstall is the Driver tab, is that what I click on to uninstall the whole thing? It says it is working properly. Should I uninstall the driver? Also, I cant remember what drive my CD ROM thing was originally and I had changed it then tried to change it back but am not sure if its the same original Letter (L).does that matter any? Does it have to be the same letter it started out with?
