(I didnt configure it) Im baffeled as to config it at the moment. Im prompted to enter an IP address on the new XP PC when installing the.exe (driver) but I cant find where ot enter a static IP address in the printers Digital Display. Ipconfig/all on old pc is a good idea.
I dont think the cable is a crossover, I will have a cable tester and I will check this next visit. They want the printer/pc off the network on its own so I will bring a switch with me to accomplish this. The new PCs NIC may not be smart. Ok will report back soon.
